Youth Development – Context of Poverty
Young people living in extreme poverty struggle with access to education and personal development opportunities. Without education and personal development opportunities, many children will likely remain trapped in a lifetime of poverty. Examples of risks impoverished youth may face include gang involvement, drug abuse and sexual exploitation. Compassion’s Youth Development efforts enable young adults to explore their God-given talents and pursue a wide array of extraordinary educational and skill development options.
